Michael G. Baker

During a career spanning over fifteen years for the Central Intelligence Agency, Mike specialized in counterterrorism, counter narcotics and counterinsurgency operations. He engaged in, organized and supervised operations around the globe, working in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe and elsewhere. He was recognized professionally for outstanding performance and for operational achievements in hostile environments.

In December 2000, after leaving government service, Mike co-founded Diligence (www.diligence.com) with the goal of building the premier intelligence and risk management firm. As a principal partner over the years he has worked to grow the company as it expanded around the globe, opening offices in London, New York, Washington, Moscow, Sao Paulo, Brussels and Geneva.  He also worked to establish the company’s security operations in Iraq in 2003, as Diligence built a team of over 300 expat and local personnel involved in security and information collection. Based in New York City, Mike now oversees the company’s operations and growth throughout the Americas.

Diligence is a leading provider of due diligence, litigation support, investigative services and competitive/strategic intelligence to multinationals, financial institutions, law firms, governments and high net wealth individuals around the globe.

Mike is a regular contributor in the national and international media on intelligence, security and counterterrorism and geopolitical issues. He appears regularly on Fox News and CNN as a commentator and occasional host, as well as other major media outlets.

Carl Biersack

Carl is Director for Biersack Government Relations Team LLC and his focus is national security, technology, telecommunications, transportation and energy issues.  Carl’s background includes a decade as a senior staffer to Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott (R-MS) he was directly associated with over 25 bills that eventually became public laws.  Before joining Sen. Lott, Biersack was associated with the U.S. Army for nearly two decades- first on active duty and then as a civil servant. While on the Army Secretariat, he won the Pace Award for extraordinary performance and was selected for the Congressional Fellow program.

He has over 15 years of consulting experience in the federal sector.  Prior to the political arena he was an Appropriation Sponsor on the Army Secretariat.  In addition to serving his clients, Carl has lectured annually on national security issues at the Defense Acquisition University and political process at the Brookings Institution. He has also been a visiting instructor at the University of Mississippi and the University of Alabama’s Law School.  Biersack received a bachelor’s degree from the Virginia Military Institute.

He also has two advanced technical master’s degrees from the University of Southern California and Troy University. Carl is married to Virginia Ann Biersack and they have five daughters.

Glenn Hickok

Glenn has spent the past two decades engaged in applying leading edge technologies to help governments around the world become more effective and efficient.

Over the past seven years he served in a number of roles at leading biometric technology provider, Cross Match Technologies including President of their Ventures business unit, General Manager and SVP for Global Sales and Services, and initially as VP of their Federal Business unit.  He was a critical part of the management team and played an instrumental role in the recent sale of the company to Francisco Partners.

Prior to Cross Match, Mr. Hickok worked for Fortune 500 Information Technology provider, EMC, where he was responsible for their line of business that supported the intelligence community.

Before joining the private sector, Mr. Hickok served ten years of active duty as a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Navy and on the Chief of Naval Operations staff at the Pentagon.

Mr. Hickok holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of San Diego and a Masters in National Security from Georgetown University.

With a deep understating of the identity management industry, entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to advancing international Security objectives, Mr. Hickok is currently consulting to a number of companies and advancing emerging business concepts.

Glen Jenks

A native of Guam, Glen enlisted in the U.S. Navy and quickly became a top performer in intelligence and political advisement. He has served at the US Embassy in Bosnia in support of the United Nations and NATO, Desk Officer, Latin American Division at the Directorate for Human Studies, and in support of Special Operations Command in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chad, Sudan, and Nigeria. He has over 15-years’ experience directly managing humanitarian and community projects and assessing human geography information across the globe. Jenks retired from the Navy as a Chief Petty Officer in 2013 and is the founder and President of the Institute for the Management of Conflict, a nationally recognized company that works to brings best practices and expertise from the Special Operations community and the academic / social science community together to optimize global development in emerging markets and areas prone to conflict.  He earned his Masters of International Service and Foreign Policy from American University.

Damon Mauceri

Accomplished Soldier, Technology Consultant and Business Leader with nearly 15 years of diversified field and operations experience. Most recently, served as a Senior Program Manager and Subject Matter Expert for Army Intelligence Quick Reaction Capabilities and formerly as the Vice President of Business Development & Products at BTS. Previously deployed as a forward Senior Defense & Intelligence Program Manager for the Intelligence Community.  Extensive and progressive experience in managing diverse, cross-cutting organizations;  solutions design, conducting strategic, operational and tactical level planning; working with conventional and unconventional military forces particularly to evolve and improve Department of Defense and U.S. Government critical architectures.  Mr. Mauceri carries TS/SCI and CI Polygraph clearances.

Currently overseeing design, engineering, and operations in the development and delivery of such solutions for customized Tactical Biometrics, Forensics, HUMINT, TECHINT, and DF/SIGINT collection and targeting systems, advanced tactical mobile wireless telecommunications solutions, secure mobility, Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Virtual Network Operations (MVNO) services. Established efficient business processes for engagement of customer base.  Administered complex marketing and capture strategies to facilitate sales of solutions and services in niche markets.

Studied Information Systems Engineering on a Computer Science track at US Military Academy at West Point.  Expert at solutions development and deployability for sensitive military customers. Regularly collaborates with inter-division personnel, client executives, and Senior U.S. Government and DoD leadership.  He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point and lives in Northern Virginia.

Douglas Ollivant

Douglas A. Ollivant is a Managing Partner and Senior Vice President of Mantid International, LLC, and an ASU Senior Fellow in the Future of War Project at the New America Foundation.  His diverse background includes stints as a National Security Council director at the White House, a counterinsurgency advisor in Afghanistan, the chief strategist for Baghdad during “The Surge” and a professor of politics at West Point.

A retired Army Officer, he is a graduate of Wheaton College, holds a Ph.D. from Indiana University, and is a graduate of the Army’s School of Advanced Military Studies.  He is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Political Science Association, and also serves in various advisory capacities to Monument Capital Group, TranScan Systems and Meridian Hill Strategies.

Dave Powers

Mr. Powers is a CEO of Crimson Advisory Group LLC, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Defense and Space consulting business based in Orlando Florida. He has over 25 years of U.S, Government Special Operations Forces (SOF), sworn federal law enforcement, and intelligence officer experience within the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) and Intelligence Community (IC).

Mr. Powers served over 25 years in the U.S. Army with 23 years in Army SOF.  He is a decorated combat leader and disabled SOF combat veteran.   Mr. Powers was a former John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School Special Forces Underwater Operations (SFUWO) combat diving instructor, and Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat (SFAUC) instructor and combat developer.  As a Special Forces operator he participated in active ground combat in Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Provide Comfort, and Enduring Freedom Campaigns.

Mr. Powers was a sworn former federal agent with DHS where he worked national security, transportation domain, and terrorism investigations.  Mr. Powers was an FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) intelligence officer and was assigned to the FBI’s elite Evidence Response Team (ERT), WMD Critical Response Team (CRT), Special Events Management (SEM) Team, and the South Florida High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA).    He is a certified FBI ERT team member, FBI Post Blast Investigator, FBI HazMat Technician, and Miami Dade Medical Examiner’s Office Police & Medical Death Investigator.

Mr. Powers received numerous awards during his federal law enforcement career with the DHS and FBI.  He received his 25 year federal service award from DHS in 2007 and was nominated for the FBI Directors Award for Counter-Terrorism investigation in 2001.  He received an FBI Directors Award, FBI Director’s Certificate of Achievement, two FBI Director’s Certificate of Commendations, and two special agent in charge awards during his FBI career.  He also received the FLETC academic award upon his graduation.

Raised in Columbia South Carolina he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Fitchburg State College and is pursuing his Master of Science Degree in Human Environmental Sciences from the University of Alabama.

He resides with his wife CPA Amy Reeves Powers in Orlando, Florida with their blended family of six children, and two Labrador Retrievers “BAMA” and “Max.”
